Pre and post care

Pre-treatment

If, after a thorough consultation, Ella determines that a volume treatment is appropriate for your needs, you will be provided with tailored preparation instructions. In general, it is advised to avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for at least 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, unless these are medically necessary. We also recommend arriving with clean, makeup-free skin and avoiding intense exercise or heat exposure on the day of your appointment. Please inform Ella of any recent dental work, illnesses, medical treatments, or vaccinations, as these may affect your treatment plan. Personalised preparation advice will be provided as part of your consultation.

Post-treatment

Following your appointment, you may experience some swelling, tenderness, or redness in the treated area. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. It is advised to avoid touching or massaging the treated area and to refrain from wearing makeup for the first 24 hours. Alcohol, strenuous exercise, and heat exposure should also be avoided during this time. Facials or skin treatments should be avoided for one week following your appointment. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided by Ella at your appointment, and a complimentary review is included with every initial treatment to monitor your progress and address any questions.
