Pre and post care

Pre-treatment
If, following consultation, lip enhancement is considered suitable for you, we’ll provide individualised preparation instructions. Generally, we recommend avoiding alcohol, aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements such as fish oil or vitamin E for at least 24 to 48 hours prior to treatment, unless prescribed. On the day of your appointment, please arrive with clean, makeup-free lips and avoid strenuous exercise or heat exposure. You should also notify your practitioner of any recent dental work, illness, or vaccinations, as these may affect treatment timing.
Post-treatment
After a lip enhancement procedure, you may experience some swelling, tenderness or redness at the injection sites. These effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. We advise avoiding touching or massaging the treated area, wearing makeup for the first 24 hours, and refraining from alcohol, heavy exercise and heat exposure. You should also avoid facials or lip treatments for one week following your appointment. Your practitioner will provide detailed aftercare based on your individual skin and treatment, and a follow-up may be offered to monitor your progress and comfort.

Why don't you name products or show before and after images?

In Australia, referencing prescription-only products in advertising or promotional content is not permitted under TGA law. Before and after imagery is similarly prohibited under AHPRA advertising guidelines. This consultation is about understanding your concerns and exploring your options not promoting specific products.

Yes, in NSW you can proceed with treatment on the same day if after the consultation you are deemed medical suitable and have no contraindications to treatment.

That is the process:
Your appointment begins with a thorough consultation where Ella will assess your facial anatomy, listen to your concerns, and recommend a personalised treatment plan, in conjunction with the medical team. There is no pressure to proceed, this is your time to ask questions and feel fully informed. A complimentary review appointment is included with every initial treatment, giving Ella the opportunity to assess your progress and address any questions.

Absolutely. The consultation is designed to be a relaxed, informative, and no-obligation appointment. It is the perfect starting point for anyone new to cosmetic treatments or simply curious about their options. Ella will take the time to listen, assess, and guide you with no pressure to proceed.

The TGA governs the advertising of prescription goods, and AHPRA sets the standards for health practitioner conduct including informed consent, clinical suitability, and ongoing training. Ella is fully registered and practises in accordance with both, to ensure your safety and wellbeing at every step.
